The study analyzed indicators such as productivity, efficiency, and sustainability of farms in different regions of Poland. Regions with favorable agricultural conditions, such as fertile lands and suitable climates, show minimal improvements thanks to modernization funds. This suggests that farms in these areas already have the necessary resources and skills to grow. On the contrary, in regions with small farms and agricultural fragmentation, EU funds help bridge the technological and organizational gap. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of considering the local context when planning agricultural policies. Modernization strategies must be adapted to the specific needs of each region to maximize impact.
